The closest airport to our bases in Gocek and Marmaris is Dalaman (DAL). If you are not satisfied with the flight connections to Dalaman, it is usually worth checking the connections to Bodrum (BJV) and in the low season also Izmir (ADB) or Antalya (AYT). Even if a direct flight is the most pleasant option, be sure to check out the offers with a stop over in Istanbul. From here, the fare is often very reasonable which compensates for the slightly longer travel time. However we advise that you avoid transition stops at the airport in Istanbul – Ataturk (IST) which are shorter than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Due to the huge size of the airport this is the minimum time needed for a successful change over flight.
